Alexis Cogul Lleonart doesn’t follow. In his world, form facilitates function. An international architect and designer with a dual degree in urban planning, Cogul must see it before he builds it. Recognized and awarded many times over in the past two decades; named one of the Top 10 Designers of the Year by the Wolfsonian Museum’s Visionaries organization, obtained distinction from the Housing Ministry for best “Final Year Project Work” for the Architecture & Urbanism Biennale. Between other distinctions, in the later years, the firm obtained numerous design awards from the AIA, Interior Design Magazine, Master Prize Architecture, Architzer and Rethinking the future of Architecture.

Simon Mass wanted a personal residence like no other in Miami Beaches most coveted neighbourhood. He wanted to be micro specific in every aspect of the design process so that there would be no thought of ever moving again and wasting a single day in lost thoughts and dreams of what is a perfect home for his personal needs. It had to be rare for a private residence and reflect the realization of being a one-of-a-kind home and never seen before. Wanting to exhibit the effects of an aesthetic evolution that has been shaping our built world for hundreds of years was the goal on this project.
